I noticed after reading the lawsuit they only mention the ds708 in the suit. I am wanting to pull the trigger on the maxisys but am left wondering if a judge does rules in fords favor will that only effect the ds708 or will it also effect all devices. And if autel does have to remove any software the judge rules was in violation of copyright infringement will autel still be able to figure out how to add the fuctions back manually.

The last thing I want is to spend a couple thousand dollars then find out all it will do with ford is read codes.

 I have read the autel response to the lawsuit but other than it telling us that autel has confidence they will win that doesn't mean they will.

I guess the main thing I want to know is since the lawsuit ONLY mentions the DS708 if autel does lose the suit will that effect ONLY the ds708 or will they have to also remove the ford stuff in the maxisys.
